Attracts capital from Lightspeed Ventures, Matrix Partners and SVB India Capital Partners to further expand its market-presence
asklaila (www.asklaila.com), India’s local information service today announced the closing of a USD. $10 Million round of series B funding led by Lightspeed Venture Partners. SVB India Capital Partners also joined the round as well as existing investor Matrix Partners India. asklaila will use this funding to scale up its operations and deploy its service across the country.
asklaila allows users to search, discover and review local services and businesses. It provides not just listings, but also richer information set through editorial and user reviews. The service has several innovative features such as proximity search, SMS, editorials and user reviews etc.
