Growing up with parents who were entrepreneurs and bootstrapped their own business, Ashwin has closely witnessed the arduous but ultimately fulfilling journey that founders undertake.
He is both excited and privileged to support individuals who are working to solve hard problems and create path-breaking ventures.
Journey
Prior to joining Matrix Partners, Ashwin worked in management consulting at Bain with a focus on growth strategy and operational improvement projects for global technology companies. He has supported technology clients in developing and scaling products, across topics including product strategy, org design, and GTM excellence. He has also helped clients identify and acquire relevant targets and established a standardized M&A org within their company to drive future acquisitions.
Prior to Bain, Ashwin worked at Cisco as a security solution consultant where he advised clients on their cybersecurity requirements and architected solutions for the same. Ashwin holds an MBA from IIM Calcutta and a Bachelor's in Engineering from RVCE, Bangalore.
